The North East Flap Course

The International North East Flap course centres within the regions of Durham, Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Ashington. It is run by the Department of Plastic Surgery at the University of Newcastle in conjunction with surgeons from other north east based hospitals.

These include the University Hospital of Durham, Royal Victoria Infirmary of Newcastle upon Tyne, Wansbeck Hospital and the James Cook Hospital of Middlesbrough.

The course director is James Wokes, a a Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive, Aesthetic and Head & Neck Surgeon based at University Hospital North Durham, and the faculty consists of other highly qualified and experienced senior plastic surgeons.
